PITTSBURGH, December 4, 2006 – The Pittsburgh Xplosion professional basketball team will host City of Pittsburgh / Allegheny County Night on Saturday, December 9 at Mellon Arena. 

City of Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl also presented the Xplosion with official proclomations, announcing December 9th, 2006 as "Pittsburgh Xplosion Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.

Anyone presenting valid identification that they are residents of the City of Pittsburgh or one of Allegheny County’s 130 municipalities at the Mellon Arena Box Office may purchase one half price ticket or buy two tickets for the price of one. 

The promotion is valid only for the team’s game on Saturday, December 9 versus the Minot Skyrockets at 7:00 PM at Mellon Arena.
