XPLOSION LOSE AT EAST KENTUCKY

PIKEVILLE, KY, December 23, 2007 –The Xplosion lost Sunday afternoon at East Kentucky, 103-82. Pittsburgh had its three-game winning streak snapped and only took one quarter point from the Miners.

The teams split the first quarter, 22-22. The Miners opened a 13-point lead at the half, and pulled away in the third, leading by 21. The Xplosion tied the Miners in the fourth, as well, but the damage had been done.

Pittsburgh hosts the Yakama Sun Kings Thursday and Friday nights at the Petersen Events Center. Game time for both nights is 7:05 PM.
